Matt Lopez is a lean athletic 6'1/175 MIF/3B from Palm Desert, CA. He runs and throws well but probably profiles best at 2B at the very highest levels. He has outstanding smooth SS actions and could be a star college SS but his tools are best suited at 2B in pro ball. His bat is pro quality right now. He lacks some extension but he is quick and creates good bat speed. He makes good hard contact consistently. He shows very good gap power that projects to HR power as he gains more maturity. Matt is a highest level college player with pro potential.
