Barone has a lean athletic frame, hits from a wide stance with solid bat speed, balanced swing, with short stride, gets hands into a good slot with a consistent load, has some late lift with good extension, could be a little more aggressive at the plate, defensively has soft playable hands, with good actions. Barone is also a good student.
