Kyle Hunter is a 2008 LHP from Galesburg High School in Galesburg, IL, with a 6'2'', 170 lb. frame. Hunter has a very projectable body and loose athletic actions on the mound. Hunter's fastball was mostly 80 mph, good velocity for a young southpaw, and he had good cutting action frequently. His curveball was 65 mph with sharp downer break on occasion and shows promise of developing into a solid second pitch. Hunter also threw a couple of low-70's change ups with arm side fade. Hunter has a very good chance of improving in the future and is a must follow. Hunter is also a good student.
