2003 Spring Showcase
Robinson is a Junior middle infielder with lots of upside from what we saw. He showed some excellent infield actions, has tools for the next level and came to the Midwest showcase prepared to play! He has taylor made actions with quick feet and good hands making all the plays, including some we thought were unmakable. He showed a slightly long arm at shortstop in the skills but was clearly throwing for the radar. He clocked consistently 84 mph across the diamond. He shortened up in game situations and made his position look easy. He swung a good bat and hit some line drives but with wood he needs to get a little stronger for the long ball. He even took the hill at the end and threw 80-82 in the rain. He is a tough competitor and will not have trouble finding a College to play at next year.
