Jeremy Riehn is a 5'10" 190 pound 2007 first baseman and right handed pitcher from Union Grove High School in McDonough, Georgia. He has a thick build with very good strength. Jeremy has a short arm action and threw 76 mph across the infield from first base during the workout. He has smooth hands and feet and pitcks the ball well out of the dirt. Riehn has very good balance at the plate with strong hands. He makes solid contact at the plate and has good bat speed. He is very short to the ball while staying back on off speed pitches and he has good power to his pull side. Riehn pitches from a full windup and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. He has a long arm action that is free and easy. His fastball had good life at 78 mph while his curveball had 11/5 rotation at 68 mph. His best pitch was his change up that had good sink at 66 mph. Jeremy is also a very good student with a 3.8 gpa.
