Matt Hicks is a 2010 RHP/MIF with a 5'8'', 165 lb. frame from Bridge City, TX who attends Bridge City HS. Smaller athletic build, athletic actions. Fast paced delivery, hides ball well, works quickly, deceptive delivery. FB touches 90 mph, varies release points, throws FB to spots. Sharp slurve type breaking ball, good tilt and depth, pounds strike zone, keeps hitters on heels and guessing. Not big but very good, can pitch for any college in the country. Outstanding student.
