Dennis Boodhoo is a 2008 RHP with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Scarborough, ON who attends Pope John Paul SS. He has a nice athletic build and loose overall actions. Boodhoo throws from a full back turn delivery and doesn't always get his hips cleared coming through out front. His arm works smoothly and with little tension. Boodhoo's fastball was up to 82 mph and it looked like he was holding back a bit. His breaking ball was a 70 mph curveball that flashed good spin and he mixed in a couple of split fingered change ups. Boodhoo could probably throw a couple more off speed pitches and mix things up more as both are pretty good pitches. His loose arm gives him the chance to keep getting better.
