Jalyn Bray is a 2005 OF from Dallas, TX. Bray is a live bodied outfielder who will show above average MLB speed. He was consistently 4.3 to first base from the left side, and we timed him on one swing at 4.09. Bray hits from a wide stance and has some strength for his size. During batting practice he made solid line drive contact with the wood and the ball jumped off his bat. Bray’s game approach wasn’t as confident. He rolled over just about every pitch he swung at, and didn’t have the same balance as during batting practice. Bray’s outfield defensive skills are a bit raw right now, but his running ability plays very large.
