Helio Burgos Gonzalez is a 2005 3B/SS/RHP from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. He has a good frame and 6'1", 180 lbs. with a strong lower half. He has solid actions at 3B with very good arm strength (86IF). He has a good approach at the plate with some bat speed and good balance. Burgos Gonzalez is a line drive hitter with the ability to go the other way with outside pitches. On the mound he topped out at 87 mph with his fastball showed some life. He has a loose arm with long limbs. Burgos has a sharp breaking slider at 78-79 mph. He is not afraid to work inside and induces many ground balls. He also showed his athleticism by running a 6.95-60. Burgos is a very good two way prospect for the next level.
