Alex Rodriguez is a 2027 C/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Villa Park, IL who attends Willowbrook. Medium size frame. Ran an 8.23 60-yard dash. Versatile catcher and infielder with a high set up behind the plate, stands straight up, glove taps, developing arm strength. Some footwork in the infield getting to the baseball and working through it some, glove placement out front, developing range and arm strength. Hit from a wide stance, developing ability to get the swing connected to backside rotation, cuts off swing at the point of contact with developing feel for the barrel. Three pitch mix out of a three-quarter slot on the mound. Solid average arm speed, 11-5 shape curve and a change of pace change up that got hitters off balance.
