Sam Behrendt is a 2028 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Middletown, IN who attends Yorktown. Taller athletic frame. Ran an 8.52 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a side set up, catch and throw skills that feature a longer arm action working on-line and developing arm strength with some accuracy on throws down. Hit from an even base with leg lift timing, creates separation with the hands and hips, gets on time and to a consistent fundamental hitting position and controls the barrel with developing bat speed and the ability to use the whole field. Showed a fastball up to 70 on the mound out of a high three-quarter slot. Showed developing arm speed and mechanics on the mound.
