Aiden Prashad is a 2027 RHP/IF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Richmond Hill, NY who attends Hicksville. Long, lean frame with a slender build and plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.55 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Deliberate pace, belt high leg lift into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Strike thrower with pitch-to-contact mentality. Fastball worked in the upper-60s to low-70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 73 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Worked both sides of the plate effectively with his fastball, repeats well and flashed a developing breaking ball with slow, gradual depth to it. Will continue to improve with refinements to his breaking ball and additional velocity. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork to get to spots, slightly deeper funnel to field and works slightly uphill into release. Showed ability to change slots on the run and recorded fairly accurate throws up to 73 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, slightly open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and inward toe-tap trigger. Rotational swing mechanics with some compact hand speed and developing feel for the barrel. Whole field approach due to length of his swing, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Projectable, young frame with upside across his skill set, will continue to improve with physical maturity and added strength. Excellent Strength.
