Alex Kovatch is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Basking Ridge, NJ who attends Ridge. Works from a medium frame with some physical upside. Primary outfielder, decent footwork, controlled gather, used a big crow-hop, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 72 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full wind-up delivery, filled up the zone with the fastball, topped it out at 68 mph, pitched to contact, worked down the mound well, releases from a three-quarters slot. Flashed a curveball with 11-5 shape to disrupt hitters. Right-handed hitter, starts in an open base, hanging leg lift trigger, flatter bat path, worked all parts of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 77 mph. Ran a 7.27 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
