Ashton Burnett is a 2024 MIF/3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Pleasant View, UT who attends Weber. Burnett worked exclusively from his primary MIF spot, showcasing refining glove work with a compact arm action and quick release across the diamond up to 71 mph. Burnett flashed some feel for the position with additional lateral range developing in the future. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a lower hand set and toe tap trigger that produced solid impact to the pull side of the field. He generated backspin on the baseball and kept the bat path level through the zone, posting an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 7.38 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
