Gavin Miller is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 5-10 174 lb. frame from Aston, PA who attends Salesianum. Bigger build with some present strength. Has a big rocker step and high leg raise to start his delivery, cross fire landing out front that creates some angle, over the top arm slot, will get off balance at release at times impacting his command. Fastball worked up to 71 mph, was effective down in the zone with the pitch creating ground ball contact. Wasn't consistent getting on top of his release on his curveball, only flashed some shape and spin. Showed some feel for a change up to right handed hitters. 8.38 runner who plays first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short load and trigger, swing is short and level, mostly ground ball contact with mid to opposite field orientation, flashed some strength when the barrel got out front. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
