On the mound he has simple mechanics with short arm action. His spin rate is very high for his age, hitting 2200+ on his slider. In the outfield he charges hard and stays low and has good carry. At the plate he has a narrow base and a balanced swing. He has an up the middle approach with line drive capability. He is an excellent student.
