Braden Richardson is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Tega Cay, SC who attends Fort Mill. Athletic young build with some present strength, very projectable physically. High level two-way prospect. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has nice lower half athleticism and moves well side to side, advanced footwork for his age moving through the ball, glove gets in good position early and fields the ball cleanly, can play on the run, solid present arm strength with more to come. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short shift into contact, has good hand quickness with a mid field line drive hitting approach, gets some jump off the barrel. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a big leg raise and tuck, gets his hips turned very well, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot with some upper body lean, would benefit from a bit lower arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with good life in the zone. Curveball was a solid second pitch, gets on top of it well creating lots of depth and spin. Fun player to watch play. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
