Robert Gourley is a 2026 C/1B/UT with a 5-8 141 lb. frame from Mahwah, NJ who attends Mahwah. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 5.50 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has young actions overall, can utilize his lower half more in his shifting and throwing, developing arm strength, makes accurate soft throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a low hand load, hanging front leg trimer, drops into his hips to start his swing, rotational swing with contact to all fields. Will keep improving in all areas with additional strength and repetitions. Very good student.
