Daniel Knott is a 2025 RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Hollywood, MD who attends Leonardtown. Long limbed athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Primary pitcher, throws from a compact arm action with an over the top arm slot and some upper body lean to let his arm through, slow to fast pace to release. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, effort at release tends to impact his fastball command and leave his arm late on this pitch. Curveball and split finger change up were both quality pitches, commanded the curveball the best of his three pitches, splitter was his go to pitch with late diving action, comfortable doubling up on his off speed pitches and pitching backwards. Developing better fastball command will be key to his development. 5.20 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound. Good student.
