2023 Jr. National Showcase
Cameron Soroko is a 2025 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Saugus, MA who attends Saugus. Smaller young build with some present strength and more to come. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has lots of athletic bounce and energy through the ball, good actions and transition from fielding to throwing, lots of arm strength and makes accurate throws. Also plays the infield and has next level talent there as well due to his athleticism and arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with good rhythm into his swing, has some hand quickness, mostly mid field to opposite field line drive contact, can be more aggressive in attacking the ball out front. Took a turn on the mound, side step/high leg raise delivery with plenty of energy into release, front side gets early at times. Low 80's fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight. Curveball was his best pitch this outing with some slurvy depth and occasional bite.
