2023 Midwest Top Prospect Games
Parker Schwake is a 2024 1B/C, OF with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Wauwatosa, WI who attends Wauwatosa West. A bigger and more physical frame with strength showing in the build. Projectable frame with room to keep filling out. Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman who fielded the ball well, working into the throws with a longer arm stroke, shortening slightly through release. He had some carry across at 75 mph on his throws. He had good turns and threw well on feeds to second. He also worked out as an outfielder, with strength showing as he threw from a shorter release. He kept throws on a lower flight at 80 mph from the outfield. Longer arm action through his release. He took direct footwork, working to the ball to funnel through it. He's a right-handed hitter with an even base, lower hands, and a lower back elbow. He's squared with his stance and slightly drops his hands before working super quick to the ball. He creates some quickness with the hands, using a shorter path. He's long through it and is able to show some juice. Physical swing with strength to impact it well. Added 2 hits, including a double to his credit. Found the barrel in-game. Produced a 100 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Excellent student. Named to 2023 Midwest Top Prospect Games TP List.
