Karter Velazquez is a 2027 RHP/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Oakdale Ca, CA who attends Oakdale. Features a medium, athletic build with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Throws from a 3/4 slot. Showed a repeatable delivery with sound mechanics down the mound. Threw a steady diet of fastballs. Offering sat 68-72 mph. Goes right at hitter and produces weak ground balls frequently. Also worked out on the infield. Showed the ability to move well laterally with solid glove actions. Was accurate with most throws, displaying a quick transfer and release. More arm strength will come. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wide base stance. Shows quality bat speed on a linear path. Can drive balls well when squared up. Still developing consistent feel for the barrel. Ran an 8.28 60-yard dash. Good student.
