Michael Currier is a 2028 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Holden, MA who attends St. John's. Works from a larger stocky frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, coiled leg lift into balance, sinks into the lower-half, drives down the slope well, releases from a three-quarters slot, repeatable delivery. Lived around the zone with the fastball, topped it out at 71 mph, projects for more velocity moving forward. Landed two variations of his breaking ball, a slurvy breaker with more horizontal break and a slower bigger breaking ball with good depth to it. Secondary first baseman, works through the ball well, moves at a deliberate pace, recorded arm strength up to 69 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and preset hands, toe tap trigger, gets rotational at times and loses the front-side, some present strength at impact, uses the whole field effectively, recorded an exit velocity of 73 mph. Ran an 8.70 sixty-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
