Wes Mugarian is a 2010 RHP with a 6'2'', 187 lb. frame from Pensacola, FL who attends Pensacola Catholic HS. Broad shouldered athletic build. Busy pitching mechanics, exaggerated leg raise, effort on release. Excellent arm strength hidden by delivery, FB 88-90 at present, we've seen much better out of him last year, has run/sink, inconsistent release hampers CB spin/velo. Two way potential as 3B, plus infield arm strength, good side to side agility, generates excellent bat speed with leverage/lift in swing, good game swings, can make swing adjustments. Could be a very good draft pick if he gets back to old mechanics. Good student, verbal to Alabama.
