Cooper Motz is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Cary, IL who attends Cary-Grove Community. Medium frame with slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 5.13 seconds. Hits from semi-spread stance with even base, pushes hands back into stiffer load, tends to lock out pre-launch, repeats a simpler move into swing well, middle field approach, shows consistent contact skills. Body projects well with strength gains. Worked out in the infield, hands work well out front, good feel for backhand, can throw from multiple arm angles, clocked up to 71 mph on throws across the diamond. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
