Ian Cooley is a 2027 C/2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Valor Christian. Long and skinny, athletic looking projectable frame right now that will continue to grow in stature. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, even setup, developing feel for fluidity in the process, pulls head off throws some, works off to the side, some accuracy to the throws, projects with body control and arm strength. Secondary second baseman, active feet to it, some range laterally, very compact throwing motion, has feel for the glove to both sides and on the charge, higher slot here projects more to the left side of the infield, has an idea out there. Right-handed hitter, even base, slightly open, small leg lift trigger to square, creates separation, hands load up, uppercut path, developing feel to create extension and flatter bat path. Frame projects some with fundamental actions in the infield. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
