Jake Farris is a 2024 OF/ with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends Teurlings Catholic. Primary outfielder with a younger athletic frame showing some strength to the build. Showed above average speed with a 6.86 second sixty. Works through the ball cleanly with feel for the glove while carrying momentum into the throws. Shows good carry to the bases by keeping the body on line and behind the throws with accuracy. Left-handed hitter, starts with an open stance and wider base. Shows an ability to get good extension out front at the point of contact when he is on time with the front side with young bat speed. Showed some of the offensive upside with a double in game actions on a ball to the pull side gap. Very good student.
