Caleb Franqui Diaz is a 2028 SS/2B with a 5-4 132 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL. Recorded a 7.70 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with room to add strength. Primary shortstop who works through the ball well and showed lateral agility. Good first step with solid direction. Fluid actions and moves well at the position with throws across recorded up to 72 mph. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, inward knee start, and a medium hand set. Bat head starts straight up with a downhill swing plane. Inside path to contact with good bat to ball skills and power will improve with added strength.
