Chasen Foster is a 2028 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Heritage. Slender young build. 7.95 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, throws from a high arm slot with developing arm strength, tends to pull off his front side hard when throwing, runs well and should develop plenty of range as he matures physically. Also worked out in the infield in drills with step by step actions. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base, lower half strides into contact but his upper half tends to shift backwards, short swing with mid field to opposite field contact, will keep improving with additional strength and better direction into contact. Took a turn on the mound, works from the wind up with a low leg raise and a mid 3/4's arm slot, gets way out front on release and tends to loose balance. Fastball topped out at 62 mph while working mostly in the upper 50's. Speed is his best present tool.
