Cayden Stakes is a 2028 RHP/C/1B with a 5-2 75 lb. frame from Rayne, LA who attends Rayne High School. Very small present build. Primary right handed pitcher, works from a slow paced delivery, stays directional and under control and repeats his mechanics well, compact arm action, has been well coached mechanically. Fastball worked up to 61 mph, threw it for strikes and worked ahead in counts. Has a good release on his curveball and creates proper spin that will keep improving as his arm speed improves. Right handed hitter, has a fundamentally sound swing just as he has a fundamentally sound delivery on the mound, handled the barrel well and found soft mid field barrels. 9.30 runner in the sixty, plays the infield when not on the mound.
