JJ Metcalf is a 2028 C/2B, OF with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Irvine, CA. Smaller compact build. Behind the plate, he gains ground of a square crouch with clean footwork. Longer exchange and arm action to release but showed quality accuracy at times. 2.40 pop time. Right-handed hitter, wide stance, pre-set coiled hands, and leg lift load. The path works direct to contact with subtle loft. Flashes bat spped at times with a line drive oriented approach through the middle. Strong in game perfomer at te plate as well. 7.98 60--yard. Named to the Top Prospect list.
