2023 Virginia Indoor Showcase (Feb. 26)
Paxton Smith is a 2027 OF/MIF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Beaverdam, VA who attends Patrick Henry. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Primary outfielder on defense, tends to stay back on the ball and can work through it more aggressively, gets on top of his throws well and has some projectable arm strength for his age and build. Has also played the infield. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and slightly open stance with a quiet hand load, has a rotational upper body swing with a line drive swing plane and pull to mid field contact, will learn to get into his lower half more in his swing as he gets stronger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
