Robert Bering is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Carlsbad. Featuring a taller, athletic frame. Three-pitch mix (Fastball, Curveball, Changeup). Has a shorter arm stroke out of a 3/4 slot. Works quick and is a strike thrower. Fastball has glove side run. Curveball showed good shape with late breaking action. In the outfield he had good footwork and proper glove technique. Showed a strong arm with carry and the ability to one hop. At first base he again showed proper footwork and glove mechanics. He moves well laterally with accurate double play feeds. At the plate he has a wide stance with a toe tap trigger. He has an up the middle approach with good bat speed. He squared up ball consistently throughout.
