Luke Crysler is a 2026 C/UT with a 5-11 152 lb. frame from Escondido, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Features a longer/wiry frame with some athleticism. Ran a 7.50 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, he showed solid catch throw ability. He operated in an athletic side-saddle position. Has a good exchange where he worked short/quick with his arm-action/release. Also replaces his feet well and sets good direction towards second. At the plate, he sits in a wider stance and uses a quick leg lift trigger that at times lands with a negative stride. Uses minimal hand/barrel movement in the load where they then work direct to the baseball for a more hands dominant swing. Showed ability to keep hands on top of high pitches well and deliver low line drives which he did throughout his round with a middle of the field approach exhibiting present barrel control.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
