Darryl Cropp is a 2025 3B/2B with a 5-8 190 lb. frame from Fredericksburg, VA who attends James Monroe. Cropp works from a broader build with strength throughout. Exclusively from his primary IF spot, he made the plays asked of him and released from a clean 3/4 slot with accurate throws across the diamond up to 73 mph. Projects as a corner IF but could change as the footwork refines. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow open stance with a compact hand set and simple stride to produce impact to the middle pull side of the field. He flashed strength in the hands and generated some carry when timed up. Posted an exit velo of 79 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
