Grayson Thomas is a 2028 RHP/MIF with a lean, athletic 5-7 130 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Started off the event clocking an 8.07 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher and utility player. On the mound Thomas features a 2-pitch mix (FB, SL) out of a 3/4 slot. Shows a clean, athletic repeatable delivery. Works linear and down hill really well. A strike strike thrower that pounds the zone with a heavy diet of fastballs. Slider showed good tilt and late break. Pitched 3-innings allowing 1 hit and striking out 5. Defensively, he showed the ability to make all the required plays and throws. Uses the proper footwork/glove techniques and works through the baseball with confidence. At the plate, he demonstrated that the can consistently square up the baseball with excellent bat speed and drive it in the gaps. Solid BP round.
