Christian Steffens is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Oakland Twp, MI who attends Rochester Adams. Medium size, slender frame. Developing footwork in both the infield and outfield, fields the baseball clean, developing ability to work through the baseball and average accuracy throwing to bases. Hit from an even base with load stride timing. Pushes hands through the zone with developing ability to incorporate backside rotation, swings uphill with some feel for the barrel and an up the middle approach. Two pitches out of a high three-quarter slot on the mound. Showed control of the fastball and developing feel for spinning the breaking ball. Athletic mover on the mound with stuff to grow into.
