Alex Wingen is a 2025 SS/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Crooks, SD. Recorded a 7.41 second sixty yard dash time. High-waisted medium frame with a long build. Primary shortstop, feet work with a two-hand smother up the middle to funnel through to the middle of the body. Smooth up the middle with a full over-the-top arm slot and accurate throws to first. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow base and upright stance with open feet and low hands and low back elbow, utilizes a toe tap trigger. Direct path with an uphill start with some separation. Driving it to the middle of the field with some carry to both gaps. Some barrel control. Intriguing player with upside. Great student.
