Liam Bettencourt is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 5-4 110 lb. frame from Morgan Hill, CA who attends Ann Sobrato. He has a young but athletic frame with room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.20 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, on the mound he has an over the top release with a very repeatable delivery. Fastball topped out at 60 mph and he has good spin and movement on his curveball up to 54 mph. He is the epitome of a strike thrower staying around the zone throughout the performance. The delivery looks effortless. In the outfield he once again showcased that accurate arm making consistent throws throughout; young actions in the field, will continue to refine and develop actions moving forward. Right-handed hitter, at the plate he has an open, upright stance. He has very active hands and stays on a linear path. He has a pull side approach with some success and more to come with development.
