Leonardo Bottero is a 2026 1B/3B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Sunnyside, NY who attends . Medium, slender frame with a high waist and plenty of time to physically mature. Recorded a 8.24 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with anticipatory actions throughout the fielding process. Displayed proper footwork and took correct angles to field out in-front. Works uphill into release and gets rid of the baseball with some urgency. Recorded arm strength up to 71 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouched, open stance with a tight, slightly wrapped hand start. Incorporates inward stride and rotational lower half mechanics to get to launch. Contact oriented stroke with elongated swing path and developing bat speed. Produced occasional line drives to the middle-of-the field, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
