Matthew Judge is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Plainedge Senior. Lean, high waisted frame with square shoulders and plenty of time to physically mature. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a coiled leg lift into balance and shorter stride down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-60s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 68 mph from a short, over-the-top arm slot. Developing command of the strike zone that will continue to improve with refinements mechanically. Mixed in slower, big breaking curveball as secondary offering with gradual depth. Secondary infielder with developing defensive skill set. Used deliberate footwork to range laterally from side-to-side, while displaying a deeper funnel to field. Carried momentum into his throws and recorded arm strength up to 65 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open base with a high, flat hand start and toe-tap trigger. Contact oriented stroke with lofted swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Whole field approach due to elongated path that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
