Caleb Bang is a 2026 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Centreville, VA who attends Trinity Christian. Medium current build with wiry strength and plenty of time to add more physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash 7.82 seconds. Primary position IF, working deliberately to the ball and playing shallow on the clay. Showed solid lateral mobility and displayed firm glove work that secured the ball regularly. Showed good dexterity on the slow roller and used full arm path to generate throws up to 78 mph across the diamond. Secondary RHP, working from the stretch only and on the 1B side of the rubber. Quick leg lift to inwardly turned posture over the rubber. Stationary hands at the belt breaking into full inline arm path to over the top arm angle. Tends to get inside the ball and creates upper-70s sinking action on his FB. Emerging feel for the CH but really just operated off his heater. RHH starting off deep in his legs and slightly open. Medium leg lift to load and good handset at the shoulder in front of body. Middle of the field impact with emerging power getting extended with nice looseness in his hands. Quality two-ways skill set for this young athlete who is an elite student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
