Evan Player is a 2028 C/ with a 5-2 138 lb. frame from Midland, GA who attends Northside. Smaller, lean build with a lot of time to continue growing. 9.45 runner in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter with a low back elbow set in the stance. Simple stride into contact, works hard to get inside the ball and hit the ball to the opposite field. Hit soft liners to the opposite field throughout the round. Has young bat speed and struggled to get timed up consistently. Primary catcher, narrow base behind the dish with some feel for the leather. Stands straight up on throws, doesn't gain much ground towards the bag. Fundamentally sound receiver with developing arm strength and accuracy, recorded throws up to 53 mph and a pop-time of 2.72. Step by step actions behind the plate.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
