Jack McCauley is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-4 260 lb. frame from Alliston, ON. Features a bigger build with strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics. Stays on-line well down the mound. Hides the ball throughout short arm action. Fastball sat 77-80 mph, topping out at 82 mph. Throws it for strikes often. Showed the ability to create a downhill plane on the offering. Pairs with a slider at 62-66 mph with short, tilting action. Flashed ability to create bite at times. Still developing consistent confidence in the offering. Worked out at first base. Can make the routine play consistently. Range profiles well for the position. Showed a strong arm across the diamond, creating carry through the target. Threw 84 mph during workouts. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance into a big leg kick timing mechanism. Swings on a direct path. Still developing consistent feel for the barrel. More power should come as more loft gets added to the swing. Ran a 7.98 60-yard dash.
