Jack Brayford is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Utopia, ON. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with drop and drive mechanics down the mound, has a long arm action in back that shows the ball, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph, gets good arm side running life and generated lots of ground ball contact. Threw a slurve type breaking ball as his secondary pitch, gets good sweeping depth at times when he throws it aggressively and picked up some swing and miss on the pitch. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Step by step defender in the infield on defense, made the routine plays well and showed good hands at the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from straight stance with a big leg lift trigger, big lower half move into contact and will get off balance at times, middle of the field contact.
