Koki Maezawa is a 2026 RHP/2B/3B with a 5-9 154 lb. frame from Port Washington, NY who attends Paul D Schreiber Senior. Maezawa works from a young developing build as a primary RHP, working exclusively from the stretch during his outing on the bump displaying controlled mechanics with a hanging belt high leg lift to mess with hitter's timings. He effectively gets over the front side with intent to generate momentum down the hill, ultimately topping out at 74 mph. The breaker for Maezawa flashed developing vertical depth with additional spin profile coming in the future. He also worked from the IF, displaying solid lateral movements with clean transfers and improving arm strength. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow base with a high hand set and hover leg trigger that generated consistent contact back up the middle. Contact tool is evident with power becoming more prominent as Maezawa physically matures.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
