Alex Croteau is a 2027 MIF/RHP/C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Webster, MA who attends Shepherd Hill Regional. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.75 runner in the sixty, speed plays well on the bases and he has good aggressive instincts. Primary middle infielder on defense, has good arm strength from a long and loose arm action, glove to hand exchange is quick and clean, makes accurate throws. Riht handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with an exaggerated high back elbow load, elbow tends to create indirectness in his swing, needs to get it down sooner, showed good carry to right center field when he was able to get on top of the ball. Projectable young athlete who will keep improving as he gets stronger. Also pitched, worked from a full arm swing delivery with a long and loose arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, nice flowing delivery he repeated well. Only threw fastballs, topped out at 72 mph with good run and sink, had a clean and quick inning. Named to the 13U/14U Lone Star Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
