Izaya Mims is a 2027 OF with a 5-2 100 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral. One of the youngest players at the event. An outfielder with fundamental footwork to the baseball, fields the ball out front, side shuffle and shows developing arm strength and accuracy. Hit from an even base with load stride timing at the plate, showed some traits that can be developed over time. With hand separation and a direct hand bath to the baseball. Plenty of ability to realize going forward with added size and strength. Very good student.
