Ben Reese is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-6 133 lb. frame from Goldsboro, NC who attends Faith Christian Academy. Smaller frame with a lean build. Right-handed hitter with high hands and a high back elbow set. Has a wide, square base stance, uses a knee lift trigger to get rhythm and gets the bat through the zone well. Has a sound line drive approach at the plate, hitting the ball back up the middle when in rhythm. Primary outfielder, athletic movements charging in, fields it off to the side with one hand, footwork is sound, longer arm swing to a high three-quarters release. Throws had true flight, carry, and accuracy to the bag, was up to 73 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, high leg lift to balance, full arm circle in the back to a high three-quarters slot. Fastball has straight, riding life up to 74 mph (1772 RPM). Good arm speed and ability to turn over a changeup in the mid-60s. Also threw a curveball with downer shape and a slider with horizontal break for strikes. Also worked out in the infield, has bounce to the actions, hands work well out front, showed a solid arm with carry across. Should continue developing accuracy across the diamond. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
