Caiden Schultz is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Winlock, WA who attends Toledo. Taller athletic build. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a three pitch-mix out of a high three-quarter arm slot. Efficient movements on the mound, consistently staying under control. Low 80's fastball with arm side run that he located well, real feel for spinning a curveball with late and sharp break with spin rates routinely registering above 2400 RPM. And a change up with some tumbling action and significant separation off the fastball. All together it's a projectable frame on the mound with a present 3-pitch mix, fastball command and a true out pitch with the curveball. Dominant and plenty more to tap into going forward. Also worked out in the infield showing some fundamental glove actions and ability to make the routine play. Hit from a wider base at the plate with some barrel speed through the zone and solid pull side contact. Very good student. Named to Northwest Prospect Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
